As a small firm, the environment at Dean & Company is very collegial, casual and supportive.  Most of our client engagements are done in small teams, allowing you to make an impact quickly and get to know your colleagues.

Additionally, we have a non-hierarchical structure and encourage our consultants to participate actively in the development of the firm, so you are able to get to know management from an early stage in your career. 

We feel that it is important for our consultants to maintain a balance in their personal and professional lives.  While the day-to-day demands of consulting can be unpredictable, we try to help consultants ensure that balance is maintained and that burnout is avoided

Outside of the work day, consultants at Dean & Company also participate in a number of firm-wide social activities. These social activities include trips to Washington Nationals and Washington Capitals games, concerts, picnics, happy hours and hiking trips. These provide opportunities for people to get together outside of work and to interact with employees other than those on their immediate project teams.
